Boarding School 13.7%
The performance of EndoTherm was piloted by an Independent School in a boarding house.
The residential boarding house, built in 1981, is heated by 3 x 65kW boilers via a mix of cast iron and steel panel radiators. EndoTherm was installed in December 2019.
Boarding houses often have a large number of occupants, including students and staff. Changing occupants’ energy consumption behaviour can be a challenge, as individuals may have different comfort preferences and habits. EndoTherm makes savings without needing occupant behaviour changes.
Boarding houses typically have shared spaces, such as common rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. Ensuring efficient heating in these areas can be challenging due to varying occupancy levels and usage patterns. EndoTherm provides space heating efficiency improvements despite these challenges.
