Independent School Academic Building 12.5%

The performance of EndoTherm was piloted an Independent School in an academic building.

The school building, built in the 1970s, is heated by 3 x 86.5kW boilers via a mix of cast iron and steel panel radiators. EndoTherm was installed in December 2019.

Many public schools in the UK have historic buildings which can have outdated infrastructure and varying levels of occupancy dependant on use. Its possible these buildings may lack insulation or have drafty windows and doors. EndoTherm makes saving space heating energy possible without large retrofitting projects that change the structure or fabric of the buildings.

The complexity of academic buildings and their diverse spaces, such as classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and common areas, can lead to increased heat demand. EndoTherm reduces usage of the existing heat demand with no disruption to daily operations of the school even during installation.
